About the College
Making a Difference

Enlist an extraordinary community of educators

Cultivate excellent teaching, learning and leading

A good educator understands the content, makes the content accessible to his or her students, and has the ability to adapt the content for different learners. Through our faculty hires and student recruitment, we are building a community of scholars and researchers who are widely recognized for their innovative, interesting work.

Take Curriculum and Instruction graduate student, Third Andresen, who was recognized by Seattle Weekly for his wildly successful undergraduate course, It's Bigger Than Hip-Hop.

More recently, Ph.D. student Sasha Lotas, partnered with a local community college to do work on her Huckabay Fellowship.
