Dr. White’s areas of teaching and research include general special education, with an emphasis on the development of performance-based systems for making timely and effective instructional decisions. Recent research interests include data-based instructional decision rules, inclusive education, and methods for facilitating skill generalization. Preferred research methods focus on replicated, single subject research designs, with the visual inspection of charted performance data, exploratory data analysis techniques, and inferential statistics appropriate for time series data (e.g., randomization tests).
