College Writing Center

January 2011 Updates

Welcome back for a fresh start in a new quarter!

Make the commitment to improve your writing skills with the College of Education (COE) Writing Center in 2011. The COE Writing Center is a free resource for all Education students, staff and faculty. We are located in Miller 413.

Bring in your papers, outlines, questions or comments, and we'll do our best to get you writing efficiently and appropriately for your genre. We can help you with research, pre-writing, drafting, revision, or publication, or direct you to the appropriate campus resource for assistance.

Winter quarter Writing Center hours: Tuesday-Friday 10am—noon & 1pm—4pm coewrite@u.washington.edu

The COE Writing Center's goal is to teach long-term writing skills through one-on-one tutor/student appointments; we do not offer proofreading or editing services or accept papers via e-mail for review. Currently, office hours are generally drop-in, but you may also e-mail to reserve a time.
