Summer Institute Offers Learning on Instructional Framework
The Center for Educational Leadership (CEL) at the University of Washington is inviting UW students, faculty, and staff to join educators from across the nation at a two-day summer institute on high quality instruction.
Bringing the 5 Dimensions of Teaching and Learning to the Classroom will be held on July 11-12, 2011, at the Puget Sound Educational Service District Training Conference Center in Renton, WA.
Attendees will learn how to deliver high quality instruction across all subject areas using CEL’s research-based instructional framework, the 5 Dimensions of Teaching and Learning (5D).
The institute will be led by Dr. Stephen Fink and Dr. Anneke Markholt along with CEL staff and expert consultants. Participants can earn 13 clock hours or a participation certificate. As one 2010 institute participant remarked, “I appreciate the framework that contains so many big ideas & strategies that come from research.”
