Eligibility and Deadlines

Eligibility

Applicants must be citizens of the United States, nationals, or be permanent resident aliens.

To be eligible to receive the award, individuals must meet all the requirements of and be accepted into the University of Washington Teacher Education Program. This includes having completed at least a Bachelors Degree in an area of science, mathematics, or engineering.

Those individuals who have already been accepted into the University of Washington’s Teacher Education Program are eligible to apply, as are individuals who are still planning to apply for the program’s Spring Quarter 2009 start.

Deadlines for submitting applications

Those interested are urged to have their application materials in by October 9, 2009 by 5 pm.
