Online Application

To apply, review the College of Education's application requirements (below) and deadlines before submitting the Graduate School's online application for admission. If you encounter problems please contact the Office of Student Services at (206) 543-7834.

Note: There is no online application for undergraduate admission.

Before you apply

Before you apply, please review application requirements and deadlines for specific programs:

  1. Doctoral Programs
  2. Masters Programs
  3. Undergraduate Programs
  4. International Applicants
  5. Graduate Non-Matriculated and Non-Matriculated Applicants
  6. Applicants Taking Courses Without Applying to a Graduate Program

Note: Starting in the 2009-10 Academic Year, doctoral study in the Educational Communication and Technology pathway will be increasingly merged with doctoral study in the Learning Sciences Program. Doctoral applicants will no longer be admitted to doctoral study in Educational Communication and Technology. Doctoral applicants are encouraged to apply via the Learning Sciences. Applications for the MEd in Educational Communication and Technology will continue to be accepted for the 2009-10 academic year.

Additional Materials Required for Application

Although you can submit most of the application materials through the UW Graduate School Online Application, you may have to submit originals or copies of some items to either the Graduate School or the College of Education, depending on the program.
