Welcome to Wednesday Window!

What's Under the Hood?

What are the core experiences we want our doctoral students to engage in while they are in the College of Education? For the last several years, we have worked to re-examine some of our doctoral milestones (i.e., candidacy, research and inquiry, and general exams). This year, in collaboration with the Academic Programs and Inititatives committee (Kara Jackson, chair), we will review our collective goals for doctoral education. We are currently working on a process and timeline for these discussions.

Bringin' It Home

Please reserve these dates for two important COE research events:

On February 26, 2020, 4-5pm in Miller 423A, a faculty panel will share insights on the application and review processes of several major federal funding agencies, including NSF and IES. Join colleagues who have reviewed for or received grants from these federal agencies to discuss strategies for submitting competitive proposals.

On May 15, 2020, the annual College of Education research conference returns. Save the posters and presentations that you're sharing at conferences across the country and bring them home. Share your recent work with colleagues and catch up on theirs. Watch for session schedule information after the New Year.
