The Danforth Educational Leadership Program at the University of Washington prepares experienced educators to take on prominent leadership roles in P–12 school systems. Our innovative competency-based program, which combines proven classroom instruction and cutting-edge research with intensive field-based learning experiences, prepares students to be strong, equity focused, collaborative educational leaders. With Danforth’s focus on educational justice and cultivating a consistent, self-reflective practice whereby student’s individual core values and beliefs on leadership are solidified, students increase their capacity to cultivate transformative leadership in others.
