Ling-Hui Chu completed her BA degree in Taiwan at National Chengchi University, her MA in the U.S. at University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing her PhD from the University of Washington in the area of Early Childhood Education. Her research interests include the relationship of executive function and social emotional learning. Currently, she is a graduate research assistant working with the Seattle Preschool Project at Cultivate Learning. |

Heather Cook completed her Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts at St. John's University, her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Washington, and is currently pursuing her PhD in the area of Educational Psychology - Learning Sciences and Human Development. Her research interests include the relationship of risk and resiliency in early childhood. Currently, she is working on a variety of projects at the UW, including Brief Online Training (BOLT) for Routine Outcome Monitoring, Student Engagement and Empowerment (SEE), and Brief Intervention Strategy for School Clinicians (BRISC) at the UW School Mental Health Assessment, Research, & Training (SMART) Center; and will be assisting Dr. Joseph's studies at Cultivate Learning in the fall. |

Min Hwangbo completed his BA degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies, his MEd in Education Policy at the University of Washington, and is currently pursuing his PhD in the area of Learning Sciences and Human Development. His research interests include the relationship of data literacy to early learning coaches, early childhood curriculum implementation to fidelity and evaluation, and system analysis of early childhood policies. Currently, he is working on leading and supporting Cultivate Learning Coach Support and Professional Development team projects on implementation and evaluation of evidence-based early childhood curriculum and coach training/professional development series in the state of Washington. |

Anran Ouyang completed her BA degree in China at Northeastern University, her MA in the U.S at the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing her PhD in the area of Early Childhood Education and Social-Emotional Learning at the University of Washington. Her research interests include challenging behavior, promoting self-regulation, curriculum intervention and teaching strategies. Cinthia Palomino completed her BA degree in Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, her Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology at the University of Washington, and she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Learning Sciences and Human Development program. Her research interests include early childhood, social-emotional interventions and parenting programs for minority families, especially Latino families from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Currently, she is assisting with data collection and the implementation of a pilot parenting program delivered for Spanish-speaking families of preschool-aged children. |

Jamie Phillips-Jimenez completed her BA degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies and Sociology and her MA in Human Development and Cognition at the University of Washington and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the area of Human Development and Cognition. Luis Miguel Briseño Sandoval completed his BS degree in Bioengineering and his MA in Human Development & Cognition at the University of Washington and is currently pursuing his PhD in the area of Learning Sciences and Human Development. His research interests include the relationship of learning and development in and across everyday contexts using interdisciplinary approaches and methods to child, family and educator learning across environments. Currently, he is leading Cultivate Learning by working in collaborative efforts with agencies across Washington State. He works to train coaches and educators on measures (ITERS-R, ECERS-R, FCCERS-R, I-3, E-3, Infant, Toddler, PreK and K-3 CLASS, SASEBA, CASEBA, and TPOT) and develops professional development resources supporting high-quality educator child interactions, in English and Spanish. |

Virginia Tse completed her BA degree in Sociology and her M.Ed. in Human Development and Cognition at the University of Washington and is currently pursuing her PhD in the area of Learning Sciences and Human Development. Her research interests include the relationship of online professional development with STEAM learning in early learning environments. Currently, she is leading Cultivate Learning and Dr. Joseph's study of math professional development called the STEAM Trunk math study, co-host of Circle Time Magazine and assisting with Early Achievers Ratings (Washington States Quality Rating and Improvement System). |

Asha Warsame completed her Master's Degree in Education here at the University of Washington and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the area of Learning Sciences and Human Development. Currently, she is the Environment Rating Scale (ERS) Assessment Lead at Cultivate Learning. In her present role she works on WA states QRIS system. Her research interests are around working with students, families, and communities. As well as, how to best support adults to build and implement quality teaching and learning for young learners in their daily practices. Currently, Asha is working on and involved in several of Dr. Joseph’s projects such as the cultural adaptation of a parent education program for Somali families as well as collaborating with a community organization to develop an assessment tool assessing kindergarten readiness and Somali-English language acquisition and retention. |

Rachel Han completed her B.S. degree in Psychology at Yale University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Learning Sciences and Human Development. Her research interests include the importance of nature contact and outdoor play in early childhood, especially in the context of nature-based preschools. Currently, she is developing resources and tools for Cultivate Learning's work on outdoor early learning in collaboration with the Washington State Department of Early Learning and local partner organizations. |
