Join us for the launch and celebration of Protecting the Promise: Indigenous Education Between Mothers and Their Children by Timothy San Pedro in partnership with College of Education doctoral student Alayna Eagle Shield, Micheal Munson, Faith Price, Tara Ramos and Kristina Lucero and their families. Protecting the Promise is the inaugural book in the Culturally Sustaining Pedagogies Series edited by Django Paris, James A. and Cherry Banks Professor of Multicultural Education and Director of the Banks Center. The Center will host a virtual book launch and celebration on April 22 from 4-5pm.
