** Register for 25 dissertation credits (total) by the end of the academic year. Leave 2 credits for the following year when you defend your dissertation (final orals).

     

Year Six: Pre-Doctoral Internship

Apply for “on leave” status EVERY quarter except the quarter that you defend your dissertation. If you do not apply each quarter, you will drop from the University system and have to reapply for active status and pay a $250 fee to the Graduate School. During the quarter you defend your dissertation, you MUST register for the remaining 2 credits.
