ConnectEd: Professional & Community Learning

Professional learning at the UW College of Education aims to support educators to transform inequitable systems of education to create just, sustainable and culturally-thriving democracies. We value the expertise that educators bring to their work and care deeply about the experiences of children and the communities that they live in.

Partnerships & Custom-Designed Experiences

In addition to our ongoing professional learning offerings, the College of Education also offers more customized approaches. Let’s work together to design professional learning that meets the particular needs and interests of your context. This can take many forms, such as a facilitated book study, a workshop series, job-embedded experiences that involve trying out instructional practices together with students, or providing building- or district-level leadership support. Partnerships range from brief collaborations to multi-year engagements and can involve a team of teachers, or an entire school or district.
