Working Hours

Full time:

  • M - F: 9 AM - 5 PM

Schedules are negotiable based on mutual availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide children in accordance with our school's philosophy, principles and early childhood best practices.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
  • Create a nurturing, calm, and prepared learning environment
  • Observe, document, and assess children’s development
  • Communicate effectively and warmly with families
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced and supportive educators

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting
  • Montessori or Waldorf certification (preferred, but not required)
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain.
  • A love for teaching young children and a respectful, patient teaching style

  • Applicants must currently reside in the greater Seattle area, WA, United States.
  • Must have valid work authorization in the U.S.
