Position Description
Part-Time Babysitter Needed for 2-Year-Old
Location: Redmond, WA – near Redmond Ridge
Schedule: 2–3 days per week, 4–6 hours per shift. Primarily weekdays with occasional weekend help as needed. Flexible around class schedules
Pay: $35/hour
About the Position
We’re seeking a responsible babysitter for our 2-year-old son. He’s active, curious, and loves reading, playing outside, and trucks. His favorite color is purple, so bonus points if you don’t mind rocking purple toys or books!
We have a dog and cat in the home, so applicants should be comfortable with pets.
Ideal Candidate
- College student, preferably majoring in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related field
- Prior experience caring for toddlers
- CPR/First Aid certified preferred, or willing to obtain
- Dependable with reliable transportation to Redmond Ridge
- Non-smoker
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, engaging care and age-appropriate activities
- Help with simple snacks/meals and nap routine
- Light cleanup of toys/play areas after use
- Maintain a safe, positive environment
