Join us in honoring Pheng Keopraseurt as she bids farewell to Miller Hall after over 20 years of dedicated service. Pheng has been a beloved member of our custodial team, bringing warmth, care, and positivity to our community every day. During her time here, Pheng has been instrumental in keeping Miller Hall immaculate and welcoming for all. Her friendly demeanor and hard work have made her a cherished colleague and friend to many.

As Pheng prepares to embark on her next chapter, we reflect on her reflections on her time at the College, her proudest contributions, what she will miss most, her future plans, and her heartfelt advice for colleagues and the College community.

Could you share a brief reflection on your time at the College of Education?

I loved working at Miller Hall. Everyone was nice to me and I enjoyed being able to see staff and faculty and students.

What achievements or contributions are you most proud of during your time here?

I take pride in being able to make Miller Hall look good. It made me happy to help people throughout the day.

What will you miss the most about working at the College of Education?

I will miss the 8:00 A.M. rush to the Dean’s office and everyone saying good morning!

What are your plans or aspirations for the future?

I plan to go back home to Laos to visit the temple where my mom, my father and my two sisters are resting. I will spend time with my other sisters. Not only that, but I also plan to visit everyone at Miller Hall in the future to say hello!

Is there a message or piece of advice you would like to share with your colleagues and the College community?

Be helpful and be kind.
