Paula Wetterhahn, Director of Admissions and Enrollment

About me: I am a “double dawg” and earned both my undergraduate and graduate degree at UW. I have worked in the College for over 20 years but still remember what it was like to be a nervous applicant and a student balancing work, life, and school!

What I love about working at the COE: Our community! This is a place of care and support as well as academic rigor. I also love being in a position to help others reach their goals.

A recent ‘small win’: Helping our autumn student graduate!

What’s bringing me joy right now: I’m in the middle of application deadlines right now and there are so many engaged and dedicated individuals who want to be part of the Education community.

A shout-out to: Rosa Haxton and Summer Lo who both play such a large role in application processing/coordination and I wouldn’t be able to do it without them. Also, I think everyone needs a shoutout right now as we are wrapping up this year!

Favorite holiday tradition, movie, recipe, book, or activity I’d recommend: Elf is my favorite movie!
