The College of Education provides opportunities for students to expand their learning through a variety of school and community based activities. Students interested in exploring the impact of research have the opportunity to work with faculty on current research projects in a plethora of areas.
These opportunities often lead to students being mentored through the process of completing and presenting their research experience at the Undergraduate Research Symposium, as well as other local and national research conferences.

Funding is available to support undergraduate research through the Mary Gates Research Scholarship, as well as through the Undergraduate Conference Travel Award.
The College has developed a poster template for undergraduate students presenting their research at the Undergraduate Research Symposium and beyond. Go to Communication Resources and select PowerPoint Templates. Funds are also available through the Undergraduate Programs Office to support the printing of undergraduate research posters.
